Dark & Allegorical Skateboard Wall Art
Bosch, Goya, Caravaggio and the darker end of European painting, on Grade-A Canadian maple. UV-printed onto real skateboard decks at 85 × 20 cm. Singles from €140, diptychs from €230, triptychs from €310.
There is a genuine historical logic to putting Bosch on multiple panels: The Garden of Earthly Delights and The Last Judgment are real three-panel altarpieces, painted as triptychs from the start. Reproducing them across three decks follows the original structure rather than imposing one.
This work needs a dark or warm wall. It is constructed out of shadow with light emerging from it, and on bright white it looks stranded. Read the full dark and allegorical guide.
