He had by then abandoned France permanently and was trying to paint outside the European pictorial tradition — though his subjects remained influenced by it. The two women are holding flowers and a tray of fruit: a symbolic offering, or simply two people resting. The painting is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

About this diptych

Format: Two decks mounted side by side, each standing vertically — one continuous composition across 45 × 85 cm

Material: Grade-A 7-ply Canadian maple — the same wood used in professional skate decks

Print: Gallery-quality UV print — no glass needed

Mounting hardware not included — purchase separately

Ships from Berlin — worldwide delivery in protective packaging

See all two-panel diptych sets or three-panel triptychs (70 × 85 cm).
